phrz
music loop generator from real sounds
phrz does not make sound with ai. it takes real recordings — public-domain (cc0) sounds drawn at random, or your own samples — chops them, places the pieces on a grid at your bpm, keeps them in key, and the phrase loops. press new phrase for another one, and export it as wav.
free to start · no install, no account · it opens with starter sounds already loaded
real sounds, not ai
an ai loop generator writes new audio from a prompt. phrz does not generate audio with ai. it cuts up sound that already exists — public-domain (cc0) recordings it draws for you, or your own samples — and arranges the pieces.
so the loop keeps the grain of what went in. bring your own samples, and the loop is made from them.
how it works
1. bring sounds
drop in up to 24 of your own samples — each one becomes its own layer. or press new sounds to pull public-domain (cc0) sounds at random.
2. set the bpm and press play
phrz chops every sound and places the pieces on a grid at your bpm, in one key. the phrase plays as a loop.
3. press new phrase, then export
same sounds, new cuts, new rhythm. when a loop lands, export it as wav. with pro, choose a phrase length of 4, 8, 16 or 32 bars, and export each layer as its own stem.
shape the loop
four sliders — density, breaks, size and pitch — change how the sounds are cut and placed.
move them, press new phrase, and listen again. the sounds stay the same; the loop changes.
